A deliciously rich chocolate bundt cake topped with smooth ganache.

- 1 (15 oz) chocolate cake mix
- 1 (18 oz) brownie mix
- 4 large eggs
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Generously grease and flour a 10-cup bundt pan to ensure the cake releases easily after baking.
- In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix and brownie mix. Add the eggs, oil, and water, then beat until the mixture is mostly smooth. Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips to distribute evenly throughout the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan, spreading it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, indicating the cake is fully baked. Remove from the oven and place on a wire rack.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan on the wire rack for 10 minutes. Then carefully invert the cake onto the wire rack to cool completely before adding the ganache.
- Place the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a medium heatproof bowl. Heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan over medium heat until it just begins to boil. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate chips and let it sit for a few minutes. Whisk the mixture until the ganache becomes smooth and shiny.
- Pour the prepared ganache over the cooled bundt cake, allowing it to drip beautifully down the sides. Let the ganache set slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
- This cake is best enjoyed the same day it’s made.
- For extra flavor, add a teaspoon of vanilla extract to the batter.
- You can substitute the vegetable oil with melted coconut oil for a different taste.
