This creamy garlic mushroom chicken is a delicious, hearty meal perfect for any night of the week.
Ingredients

- 4 boneless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 8 ounces mushrooms sliced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
Instructions
- Season chicken with salt and pepper then sear in butter over medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes per side until golden and remove from skillet.
- Add mushrooms to the same skillet and cook for 5 minutes until browned and tender.
- Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds then pour in chicken broth and scrape the pan.
- Add heavy cream and Parmesan and simmer for 3 to 5 minutes until thickened.
- Return chicken to skillet and simmer for 5 minutes until cooked through then garnish with parsley.
Notes
- Serve with rice or pasta to soak up the creamy sauce.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
