Description

A delicious and creamy chicken dish featuring sun-dried tomatoes and fresh basil.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  3. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in parmesan cheese and mix until melted and the sauce thickens slightly, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Mix in sun-dried tomatoes and basil, ensuring they’re well incorporated.
  5. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, spoon the sauce over the top, and let it heat through for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with extra basil if desired.

  • For added flavor, marinate the chicken in olive oil, salt, and pepper for 30 minutes before cooking.
