- 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of choice)
- ½ cup plain yogurt (optional)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- Ice cubes (optional, for thickness)
Instructions
- If using fresh strawberries, wash and hull them. Peel the banana and break it into chunks.
- In a blender, combine the strawberries, banana, and almond milk. If you are adding yogurt and sweetener, include those as well.
- Blend on high until smooth. If the mixture is too thick, add more milk until you reach your desired consistency. If you want it thicker, consider adding ice cubes and blend again.
- Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness if necessary by adding more honey or maple syrup.
- Pour the smoothie into a glass or mason jar. It’s best enjoyed fresh!
- Add a few slices of strawberry or banana on top for an attractive presentation.
