A refreshing cranberry salad with apples and cream cheese.

- 2 cups fresh cranberries, finely chopped
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple with juice
- 2 cups diced apples
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 8 oz softened cream cheese
- 8 oz whipped topping
- 1 cup mini marshmallows (optional)
Instructions
- Chop the cranberries and mix with sugar; chill to soften.
- Add pineapple and apples, stirring gently to combine.
- Whip cream cheese until smooth, then fold in whipped topping.
- Combine the creamy mixture with the fruit mixture.
- Add pecans and chill until the salad thickens and sets.
Notes
- This salad is best served chilled.
- Mini marshmallows can be added for added sweetness and texture.
