Description

Delicious savory muffins with Parmesan cheese and a hint of paprika.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/41 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg (at room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400° F. Line a muffin tin with paper muffin cups or spray the pan very well with cooking spray. Set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, cheese, sugar, baking powder, paprika, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the egg and sour cream until smooth. Whisk in the milk and oil.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir with a wooden spoon until just moistened.
  5. Fill muffin cups 3/4-full.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Allow the muffins to cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes before serving.
